New shoes day!!!!

So my New Years Resolutions are doing well: no IPA at home

And I’m saving these plastic salad dishes from my lunches at school and taking them home to use as cereal bowls. Incredible waste. It’s a start.

Supe is the best kind of poseur.

One of these days I’m gonna get lucky and see this in all its creek shaping flood glory. I thought it might be today given the foot of snow over the weekend then today’s rain and 40 degree temps. The creek bed was full but not roaring. One of these days I’m gonna watch the boulders tumble down the creek.

Downright revolutionary.

Who knew that lined pants are the answer? I never realized that if I’m cold, I should keep my legs warm. I have been living by the old sailor’s adage: if your toes are cold, put on a hat. Instead on putting on a hat and vest, the heat generated from the legs moves upward (of course) and warms my core. Lined pants. Now I’m a believer.
